NEW VIDEO: Beyoncé Reads Heartfelt Letter To Michelle Obama

In April Beyoncé posted a handwritten letter to the U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama on her Tumblr, writing that the First Lady “is the ULTIMATE example of a strong African-American woman”. At the time, Obama responded on Twitter, writing, “Thank you for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids everywhere can look up to”. Now, Beyoncé is reading the heartfelt letter on video. She says she wrote the note because she wanted Obama to know “I’m very grateful for everything she is doing for our country” and “Every time I see her she inspires me”. She even brought up Blue Ivy: Beyoncé ends by saying, “I’m so proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to”.
