Power moves are in play as Joke Jaiyesimi, the former Hip TV producer and Soundcity topshot is now one of the people calling the shots at the new digital distribution company, Spinlet, here in Nigeria.
Joke, who earned her stripes working at Minaj Broadcasting International (MBI) and then started up Music Africa with Phillip Trimnell, is now the Creative Director at Spinlet.
‘Knowing Joke works at Spinlet made it easy for them to work with me’, rapper Terry Tha Rapman who recently signed up with Spinlet said about Ms. Jaiyesimi. Sources say she’s one of the reasons many Nigerian artistes are warming up to the company.
Jaiyesimi, a hardworking mother-of-one, was married to popular video director DJ Tee.
